All-round Talent for Optical Networks
The requirements for optical wall distributors are becoming increasingly diverse and demanding. Regardless of whether office, industrial, mobile radio or FTTH cablings are concerned, solutions are needed to be able to splice glass fibres reliably and individually for the network requirement. The modular wall distributor is the „all-round“ talent for future optical networks.
With its compact dimensions of 390 x 260 x 100 mm the wall distributor painted in RAL 7035 allows splicing of up to 120 fibres. Fibre optic cables with a diameter of max. 20 mm can be fixed via four cable inlets at the top and bottom with metric screw cable glands in the housing. Using four 3 HU /7 TU front plates, it is possible to accommodate up to 48 FO simplex or duplex adaptors in the distributor.
The four separate front plates also enable mixed equipping with different adaptor types or for different fibre types. The housing has two doors with different closures so that the splicing area can be protected against possible unauthorised access. The FO patch cables exit the housing at top and bottom, foam rubber strips prevent foreign bodies from penetrating the housing. Customised solutions such as the connection of hybrid Power & FibreOptic cables in mobile radio or the accommodation of active media converters for Fibre-to-the-Home/Building networks in the BEP (Building Entry Point) are implemented individually and project-specifically for the respective network requirement.

Modular Wall Distributor SAM
In the wall distributors painted in RAL 7035 you can splice up to 8x4 fibres on SC cassettes or 4x12 fibres on SE cassettes. The SAM fibre management enables fibre overlengths to be laid and the 250 μ fibres to be laid safely and protected to the cassettes. Fibre optic cables with a diameter of max. 20 mm can be fixed via three cable inlets each at the top and bottom with metric screw cable glands in the housing.
Using four 3 HU/7 PU front plates, it is possible to accommodate up to 48 FO adaptors of types ST, SC, E2000 or LC in the distributor. The four separate front plates also enable mixed equipping with different adaptor types or for different fibre types. The housing has two removable doors with different closures so that the splicing area can be protected against possible unauthorised access.
The FO patch cables or pre-assembled TICNET lines can be fed out of the housing at either top or bottom. Foam rubber strips prevent foreign bodies from penetrating the housing.
