Small networks with a limited number of subscribers require simple and cost-efficient networking solutions. By means of Telegärtner´s Mini Distributor series MPD users aren´t forced to use large and expensive cabinets or enclosures for their passive network infrastructure.

The MPD series is suitable for any type of small network size. The distributors are available for 6, 8, 12, 16 or 24 links (shielded or unshielded) and can be affixed to the wall, onto a cable duct, onto a mounting rail TH35 (DIN EN 60715) or simply placed onto the desk.

The modular Mini Distributors perfectly allow to install as much as passive network infrastructure as currently  needed with the option for future network extension in the same housing. Additional shielded or unshielded keystone jacks of any performance category can be added or replaced at any time, unpopulated cut-outs can  be closed using blank covers.

The all new MPD12 & MPD16 even do allow to be snapped-onto a mounting rail (DIN Rail TH35) with its built-in adaptors, so no more accessory needed for this type of installation saving material costs and installation expenses.

The Mini Distributors using LSA+ terminal blocks with 6, 8, 12 or 24 ports supporting the performance of  Category 6_A form the basis for a network infrastructure with data transmission rates up to 10 Gbit/s. They  further allow at least 750 mating cycles with standard compliant RJ45, RJ11, RJ12 plugs. Remote powered  devices can be easily plugged into the MPD and supplied with data and power as PoE+ (acc. IEEE 802.3at) is  also supported. The MPD LSA+ types are available as types for wall-mount, mounting rail TH35 and 3 HU  chassis.
